Today here in Canada we have an election today and most of the polls say that we will have a change in government. Over the last 150 years or so here in Canada we have almost always had a majority government and that government has organized power in the Prime Ministers office to the point were the Canadian prime minister has had much more power over the country than a US president is given by the constitution.
If we do have a change in government today the Conservatives would lead with the Bloc Quebecois, Liberals, and NDP having enough power to kick the Conservatives out of power as soon as they think they can themselves thing that they can win another election.
One of our great failings in Canada is that there is never a minority government that has tried to build a successful coalition with another or another two parties. We are looking forward to a second minority government and could possibly see another in a year because there is never consensus building before a government is formed.
Let’s hope that changes tomorrow.

Meditation for beginners
I have found the following article on meditation for beginners. I have been interested in meditation for years but have not gotten back to it in a long time. I hope that by posting some articles on meditation that maybe I will get back to it again.
Stress and anxiety seem to be the health issues we are dealing with these days. So many people dealing with too much work, too many bills, not enough peace and quiet. Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could get away, to a beautiful place of peace and quiet, for even just five minutes a day?
During this article, you will learn how to create an Inner Sanctuary. A place where you can go, that no-one else can visit. You won't be disturbed by the phone, or the kids, or traffic, it won't cost you anything to go there, and there's no travel. You can spend as little or as much time there as you choose, and visit as often as you like.
The Inner Sanctuary is not a cure-all for the stress of daily living, it is important to develop a number of tools to help you live a healthier life. However, the Sanctuary is a very helpful and powerful tool and is easy for anyone to use.
Creating your Inner Sanctuary is a very simple exercise. You don't even have to know how to meditate. By simply using your imagination, you can develop the most wonderful place, solely for your use.
Here are some guidelines to help you:-
Choose a place of nature, a forest, a beach, a desert, whatever feels peaceful to you.
Include running water somewhere in your place, a waterfall, a pool, the ocean are all wonderful choices.
If you live in a mainly hot climate, make sure there is plenty of shade and cool in your sanctuary. Likewise, if you live in a cold area, have lots of snuggly areas, you could even create a cosy little cabin with a fireplace, or choose somewhere warm like the beach.
Remember that you can add or change areas to your Sanctuary, any time you choose.
Once you have designed your sanctuary, try it out. Using your imagination, feel yourself walking around, breathing in the clean, fresh air, floating in the water, washing off the cobwebs and tiredness under the waterfall. Sinking deep into the cool earth to be replenished, nourished and nurtured. Recognise that there is no time here, no pressure, no expectations. This is a place of healing and nurturing, pure freedom. Breathe slowly the whole time you are here, this regulates your body's rhythms and calms you down.
Take your time developing your relationship with this place. This is always meant to be a place of peace, healing and joy for you, so make sure you use it to clear away any stress or frustration. Swimming, wading in water or standing under a waterfall is a wonderful way to clear away the dust and dirt of living. Once you've cleared up the stress, spend a bit of time enjoying the peace of your sanctuary before returning to the physical world.
After a while of visiting this Sanctuary, you will find that you can visit it for just a few seconds at work when you are feeling harrassed, or in a traffic jam where feelings of frustration build so quickly, and harmony is restored.
Now that you have your Inner Sanctuary, it is important to make use of it. Not just in quiet times at home, but also in your toilet break at work and other times of stress. The more you use it, the better you will get at dealing with stress and frustration.

Updates on some websites
It was a busy weekend with Michelle out of town at a Stampin up thing in Edmonton. I was at home looking after Jaiden and Taylor was out in Cochrane camping. Tonight everyone is a little out of sorts as we were all going in different directions all weekend.
I have done some changes to two of my Amazon web stores. The first one I fixed was Michelles on the Michelle Scrapbooking site and the second was my own on the Estore site.
The other thing that I was doing this weekend was fixing the heml onm my moms Real estate site.

New Clickbank Directory
Imagine a place where you could find information, ebooks, that solved your problems in any part of your life. Have you ever looked for and had trouble finding dog training information? how to get in shape? how to get great deals on travel? There are authors of ebooks that have written books on these subjects and more. Welcome to the concept behind ClickBank.
Clickbank is an e-commerce company that is committed to helping authors of ebooks to get together with buyers. As you could probably imagine there are a lot of professionals with great skills that are not professional writers. These writers have improved their craft and have all of the information that a person might want on their subject but there just is not enough demand on the subject ofr them to get their book published on paper by one of the big publishing companies.
Currently Clickbank offers over 6,000 books ranging from relationships and child rearing all the way to pet care and how to get a great deal on a car. There are a ton of books that people have always been clamoring for but have never been able to find.
There is not an easy way at the clickbank site to find all of the books that Clickbank offers but I have been able to put up a great directory system to find books on Clickbank. Check it out today.

The Davinci Diet
I saw a great documentary that debunked the Davinci Code. I didn't know what it was about but I was still alittle disappointed that the holes were poked in a neat little story.
Now, just in time fo the movie someone comes out with a Davinci Diet of Meditaranean food

Nothing Too exciting going on
Just a quick note to let everyone know that I have started a couple of amazon bookstores. One is a Fitness Bookstore and the other is a general bookstore.
Hope that you like them.
Other than that there is not much new except for my bad biking experience. I have been doing a lot of work lately to my old 150 dollar Canadian Tire bike and finally pieces started to just break off. I lost the shifter in a bad way and not am stuck riding Michelles bike. Jamie at work today was asking me if I knew that I was riding a girls bike and I had to admin, yeah, I hope that on the weekend I can go over to Sharie and Jamies house and get the bike fixed

Hot day again today. Taylor and Jaiden have been playing in the pool and I have been working on some stuff and getting in trouble from Michelle for letting the kids make a mess while she was at a scrapbooking thing in Strathmore today.
I think we may be getting Taylor some more Scooby Doo DVDs.
My mom has been busy selling a bunch of houses!

Well it's a hot day today in Calgary and Michelle and I took up Michelles mom on an offer to look after the kids. We went to Earls for lunch and then went to see the Wedding Crashers. What a great movie! Vince Vaugn did great slapstick and Owen Wilson played a good lovestruck player.
Whedw, hope things cool down soon but I am not going to complain to much when we get such cold cold weather all Winter.

Well this is the big news of the day. I never seem to get really excited about shuttle launches until I see these pics of the takeoff knowing full well that I will soon get to see some video from space.
Now all I need is the million or so dollars so that I can get to ride in Richard Bransons Vigin Galactic Space Plane.

The Week Home With The Kids
Wow, I have a bunch of weblogs and I just ran into this one at blogger that I forgot that I had. I am at home with the kids this weekend and as much aw I think I do well as a father the kids will never bend to my will.
Jaiden and Taylor were sick on Tuesday so I took them camping on Wednsday. Jaiden was a nightmare without Treehouse TV and after I fed him to much juice he threw up all over himself. Finally I got them in the tent in the evening and the were jumping on me until they both banged heads and collapsed crying. This is the last time I attempt something as crazy as camping with two kids....until next summer anyway.
Tommorow Michelle is back and I will be really really happy to see her. Thankfully I will be back to work on Monday and will be able to get some work stuff done instead of chasing them arround all day.
I would not have traded this week for anything in the world...does that make me crazy?
